Exercise Classes at The Park

Meet new friends and work out in a fun and informal setting with our great range of exercise classes. Classes must be booked in advance and can be attended on a pay as you go basis for £5 per class, or you can sign up for a monthly membership with us.

Please note:
Customers failing to give adequate notice for cancelling their place on an exercise class will be charged the full class fee. If for any reason you cannot attend a class you have booked for, please inform us at least 3 hours prior to the start time to enable us enough time to contact customers on the waiting list.

 

Insanity®:
Insanity workouts push individuals to new training heights, resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism. Insanity’s interval training is the pinnacle of cardio training. The group-exercise adaptation of this workout has been designed to give participants a safe, challenging, and results-driven experience. It takes into consideration the special needs of the group-exercise setting by providing a variety of modifications and instructor skills on how to provide the ultimate workout, regardless of the varied fitness level of participants. Each class can accommodate beginners as well as athletes in peak condition, because each move can be modified in a variety of ways to increase or decrease the challenge.

Fitness Pilates:
Fitness Pilates is a training option that focuses on the body as a human kinetic chain. By applying the fundamental Pilates technique and exercises, Fitness Pilates aims to offset musculoskeletal imbalances.  The aim of Fitness Pilates is to identify basic postural imbalances and through Pilates based exercises; increase muscular balance and strength, improve client’s posture and facilitate the clients’ ability to optimally function occupationally and recreationally.

Studio Cyling:

Using a combination of hills, sprints, static holds and climbs, our instructors will take you through a program designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness and endurance.

Circuits:
Fitness class using a range of equipment such as dumbbells, powerbags, kettlebells, medicine balls, benches, and much more. Sessions vary weekly and are designed to work your overall body using a combination of bodyweight and equipment-based exercises.

Tabata:
Tabata is high intensity training that produces amazing results in both aerobic and anaerobic capacity. Tabata training helps you produce maximum results in minimum time.

TB-40:
A 30/50 minute total body workout using a variety of dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and medicine balls. This class will help sculpt and tone your body whilst improving core strength.

HIIT:
A 45 minute class using High Intense Interval Training techniques for an allover body workout.

The Park Gym:
Monday to Friday 7am-9pm
Saturdays 9am-4pm

The Park Sports Centre:
Monday to Friday 7am-10pm
Saturday & Sunday 9am-4pm


Bad Weather Closure:

In cases of severe weather conditions the college may need to close. If you are unsure of the status of our opening, there's a few places you can check.
